Detailed Review
Apple Fitness+ is designed for Apple ecosystem users. If you own an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, it provides seamless integration. During our testing with an Apple Watch, we appreciated the automatic heart rate tracking and real-time metrics during class.
The yoga library is smaller than dedicated yoga apps (about 100 yoga classes vs 1000+ on Glo), but quality is excellent. Production rivals Peloton with motivating instructors and energetic music.
At NZ$14.99/month standalone, it's expensive. However, bundled with Apple One (which also includes iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+), it becomes a better value for Apple users. The main limitation is Apple-exclusivity—it won't work on Android or Windows devices.
Apple Fitness+ is best for Apple ecosystem devotees who want wearable integration and don't mind fewer yoga-specific classes. For yoga purists, Glo or Down Dog offer more depth.
